With its Oral-B products, The Gillette Company is a worldwide leader in the $5 billion oral care market. The introduction of the Oral-B Pulsar in June 2005 is supported by the most extensive marketing campaign ever undertaken by Oral-B. Tracer's motion graphics will be used to highlight the pulsing action of the bristle and brushhead. As consumers pass by the display, they will see the simulated motion when the product is in use. Past studies have shown that the motion graphics used in point-of-sale displays are both eye catching to the consumer as well as provide a higher level of retention for the product.
